We have a great mix of people from the guys bringing in failed Spridget parts for detailed dissection to members attending along with their partners just for a pint and a chat. All are welcome and we try to run a mix of various events so that there is something to suit everyone at some time.
We organised the inaugural National Midget and Sprite Weekend in 2015 which involved a run around the Welsh Borders, a MASC Dinner with Live Music and Dancing followed by a day at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb Classic Nostalgia event the following day. Everyone seemed to enjoy it so who knows, we may do another one soon!
One thing that we hold dear is that our hobby is for having fun, so we try to do just that. This Autumn will see our first Scalextric and Fish Supper night at nearby Phoenix Scalextric and I suspect the evening will see some laughter as well as some Hamilton v Rosberg intense rivalry!
Remember if you’re new to the club and are just not sure what the monthly meetings are like, just turn up at the Green Dragon at 8pm on the 2nd Wednesday of any month and you’ll be assured of a warm welcome.
